Title: Amor Imposible (Impossible Love)

About the Installation:

Impossible Love is a series of pneumatic sculptures that, like a real garden, grows over time. The work stems from a reflection on themes such as beauty amidst adversity, the adaptation of species to inhabit hostile environments, and the deep connections between people and their surroundings. By combining natural elements with inflatable forms, Flaminguettes seeks to create a dialogue that encourages the audience to explore and question their place in the world, challenging the perceptual barriers that shape everyday experience

About the Collaboration:

For Tramite’s 8th edition, we developed this immersive installation with the support of the Secretary of Culture of Queretaro, initially designed for the music festival PULSO GNP. As the garden grew, we decided to take over various locations around the city. In addition to its presence at the festival, we featured a performance by the Coro Acardenchado, a genre of Mexican popular music sung a cappella. The performance took place at a popular plaza in Queretaro’s Historic Center—a truly magical evening.

The pneumatic botanical garden is currently undergoing maintenance to continue its journey across the country.
